Indoctrinating Ukrainian Schoolchildren

As Hunternews reports, according to Izvestia, plans are under way to give a distinctly pro-fascist, anti-Russian slant to the teaching of history in Ukraine.
The country’s Ministry of Education is preparing a new history curriculum for 2016 for primary and secondary school students. The syllabus aimed at 10- and 11-year-olds will cover topics such as “The Revolution of dignity. Aggression: Russia vs. Ukraine” while the teaching materials will present the Nazi-collaborationist Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UIA) as “dissidents” and “fighters for the independence of Ukraine.”
Thus, the Ukrainian Insurgent Army, which committed numerous crimes against the civilian population during WWII will now be described to Ukrainian children as an army of freedom fighters.
