Ukr Banrupt

Whilst Ukraine warlord and Oligarch has been morally bankrupt for some time now he now appears on the verge of financial bankruptcy after a recent failure to meet a recent payment schedule to a US government linked financial institution that specialises in funding wars for resources.

Part of this use by Kolomoisky of Privatbanks resources for the war effort has been the use of the Banks armored vehicles in combats zones to steal money from the Banks in the Donetsk and Luhansk Peoples Republics captured by Kolomoisky funded Volunteer Battalions. The financing for these battalions has come primarily from three sources the deposits held by ordinary Ukraine citizens, special government grants and from a US Government linked and Washington DC based financial service company that specialises…

Stories from Oles Buzina: Unheroic “bandera”

Nina Byzantina

Much like his caustic historic text on SS Galicia, Ukrainian author Oles Buzina was not very fond of Stepan Bandera—another one of official Kiev’s current ‘heroes’. This following prophetic text, written in 2011, also demonstrates why Buzina became a political dissident in his own home and possible reasons for his assassination in the spring of 2015.

STORIES FROM OLES BUZINA: UNHEROIC “BANDERA” (2011)

(“Stories from Oles Buzina” was a regular column for Segodnya newspaper, covering historic subjects. In the Russian language, “story” and “history” (istoriia) are the same word, which plays an important role in this context.)

Demoted! On January 12th, 2011, the website of the president of Ukraine reported that Stepan Bandera lost his official title of Hero.

KP: What happened?

AS: My emotions are running high. Basically, we passed an Ukrop [term for Ukrainian ultra-nationalists–ed.] ambush, and they took out the car after us. Three of them “200”[Russian military jargon for killed-in-action –ed.].

KP: Where was it?

AS: Near Snezhnoye. We passed them by an arm’s length. We drove to the position on the field, I saw a stirring in the bushes, and a soldier wearing a helmet, hiding a machine-gun in the bushes. I thought it was our secret…
