Antidote Zine

AntiNote: This article was written for The Barbarian Review, an anarchist publication in Athens very dear to us.

You certainly know Liberty leading the people. Marianne is holding a banner, tits out, and the revolted people of Paris, fully armed (a gun toting crowd), is following her, stepping on the barricade among dead bodies.

Now imagine a Panda rising from the haze – not tear gas, as no one is crying or coughing there – surrounded by ecocitizens from all over the world wearing T-shirts and holding banners reading approximative Gandhi quotations “We have to change, not the climate”. Everybody (i.e young hipsters) is “peacefully rioting”. A couple is even taking a selfie in the background.

The COP 21, a conference on climate change, is going to take place in December in Paris. Respectables NGOs and big industrial groups seriously talking about slowing down the end of the world…

A View from the U.S.

by Heather Cottin

The US has come so far on its McKindarist-Brzezinski scheme of world domination, that we are now into the EuroAsian gambit for late imperialism on the “Grand Chessboard.” Anyone dares challenge us? We will attack!

The Russians know the game. Suddenly: there is a challenge that will have deep repercussions. Russia in Syria, helping Iraq; Hezbollah, Iran and China form a strong resistance, united in Syria, though China is not directly involved. With its 2.5 million army and its 2.3 million reserves, and lots of fancy new planes, China is a threat.

The US wants war, but in the arsenal of the anti-imperialists war is not the first move. Economic machinations can choke the imperialists and their proxy (poxy) states.

Russia’s cutting gas and oil off to Turkey will be hard on millions of non-fascist peaceful Turks. They will be cold this winter.

So this is the…

same old russophobia, sniggers & hand-wringing: media response to Turkish attacks is a dismal failure

Yesterday we wondered whether the non-lunatic parts of the western intelligentsia would be up to the task of resisting the new neocon push for war that obviously lies behind the Turkish shoot-down of the Russian SU-24. Signs continue to suggest the answer to that is “probably not.” In fact there’s every indication of an absolute lack of direction in the media outlets, suggesting they have not had their playbooks updated following this near-disaster and are having to improvise – a thing they are not trained to do.

In the current confusion some media comment is showing signs of dawning awareness of humanity’s peril, but it’s largely the panicked bewilderment of the cult-member who begins to realise there’s cyanide in the Kool-Aid. There’s little impression that anyone yet has marshalled the insight or intelligence to actually break step with the old official narrative which is currently marching us all toward the…

U.S. TV uses Russian airstrike footage to claim U.S. hits on ISIS oil trucks

A still from a Russian Ministry of Defense video showing airstrikes against ISIS oil trucks in Syria.

Moon of Alabama writes:

[…] I have found no video of U.S. hits on Islamic State oil tanker assemblies.

The U.S. PBS NewsHour did not find any either.

In their TV report yesterday about Islamic State financing and the claimed U.S. hits on oil trucks they used the videos Russia provided without revealing the source. You can see the Russian videos played within an interview with a U.S. military spokesperson at 2:22 min [see below].

The U.S. military spokesperson speaks on camera about U.S. airforce hits against the Islamic State. The video cuts to footage taken by Russian airplanes hitting oil tanks and then trucks. The voice-over while showing the Russian video with the Russians blowing up trucks says: “For the first time the U.S. is attacking oil delivery trucks.” The video…

Andre Vltchek: “Ignorance and Indoctrination of Westerners Kills Millions”

another article in our challenging the narrative of the “new 9/11”, by Andre Vltchek

Our planet Earth is heading straight towards the most dangerous collision in its history. It is not a collision with some foreign body, with an asteroid or a comet, but with the most brutal and selfish chunk of its own inhabitants: with people who proudly call themselves “members of the Western civilization.” Again and again it is clearly demonstrated that Western culture, which the paramount psychologist Carl Jung used to call “pathology”, couldn’t be trusted.

This “culture” had already mercilessly slaughtered several hundreds of millions of people in all corners of the world; it enslaved entire continents, and plundered all that had any value, whether it was located above or under the surface of earth. Inhabitants of Europe, the United States, as well as rulers of the client states, showed chilling indifference towards the suffering of…

Dmitry Orlov: “a most convenient massacre”

as part of our challenging the narrative of the “new 9/11” series, Dmitry Orlov suggests the Paris attacks were classic false flag events.

“… after the Russian jet crashed in the Sinai there weren’t all that many Facebook avatars with the Russian flag pasted over them…What’s the difference? You were told to grieve for the French, so you did. You were not told to grieve for the Russians, and so you didn’t. Don’t feel bad; you are just following orders…” .

What a difference a single massacre can make!

• Just a week ago the EU couldn’t possibly figure out anything to do to stop the influx of “refugees” from all those countries the US and NATO had bombed into oblivion. But now, because “Paris changed everything,” EU’s borders are being locked down and refugees are being turned back.

• Just a week ago it seemed that the EU was…
